Seville Estate is one of the Yarra Valley’s premium producers of estate grown and made wine. Dr. Peter McMahon first began planting Seville Estate in 1972, creating a legacy that continues to flourish amidst the beauty of the Yarra Valley. With over 50 years of history, this estate’s 10 hectares of vines are cradled by an undulating terrain of red volcanic soil over clay base that define its distinctive terroir. As one of the pioneering vineyards in the Yarra Valley, Seville Estate paved the way for other wineries in the region. The food and wine was delicious and the staff were friendly and really knew their stuff! The beautiful view of the vineyards from the dining room was the cherry on top of an excellent dining experience.
Visited this place for some afternoon wine tasting. Happened to pick this because it was dog-friendly. The estate is beautiful! Views from cellar door are worth melting for! Loved their collection too!Also great customer service!
Viewing the villas on their website we had great expectations. However they are like a geode - perfect and beautiful on the inside - rough on the outside. When we pulled in we thought we had to be in the wrong place. You pull in to their maintenance area full of junk and sheds. From the photos we thought we would be in a relaxed area - not the maintenance area. The decks are worn. The inside was beautiful! The view great. We wish the outside matched the inside. The contract states that we have to remove the trash or have a $50 fine. We have never had to do this. We were heading to hotel in Sydney. Where were we supposed to drop it? We found a trash bin in the maintenance shed. We have to take the trash out at home - not on vacation!
Location, layout & size of apartment were great. For the price paid though it would have been nice to have a Brekky hamper or even a small token of complimentary chocolates, fruit or wine provided. We have stayed in lots of places, & even at a cheaper nightly rate there was a complimentary ‘goodies’ or breakfast supplied.The external surrounds needs a good clean & maintenance.
