The Estate range is crafted exclusively from our vineyard. The intention is to show a true expression of our unique site, using a combination of old vines planted in 1972 and vines planted in 1996. All grapes are handpicked and sorted, ensuring only the best bunches make their way to the winery.

The Reserve range expresses the very best wines from the vintage. They are only released in exceptional years, produced in very small quantities, and are made using only the very top quality fruit from our estate - mainly from our 1972 plantings. Each wine is approachable in its youth, while still offering considerable cellaring potential.

Our founder, Dr Peter G McMahon, first planted vines at Seville Estate in 1972. He was known to give as much meticulous care and attention to his winemaking and viticulture as he did his patients. In recognition, the Dr McMahon label denotes wines of meticulous effort and care, expressed through distinct styles of Pinot Noir and Shiraz.
